Sierra Remake Comparison II: Leisure Suit Larry

This week Anna & Paul bring you the next installment in the Sierra Remake Series, this week they are comparing both versions of Leisure Suit Larry In The Land of the Lounge Lizards! It's EGA vs VGA, AGI vs SCI, Parser vs Point and Click! Join them as they take you through both versions of Larry's origin story, examining the differences in gameplay, story and experience and even bringing in a dash of Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded for good measure. They really went HARD on this one. Ya know. Really ah, really did it to completion. Really um... got intimate with the details. Explored every nook and cranny. Really bounced off each other. Had a, had a stimulating conversation. Really, they really come out on top of this one.

Adventure Game Interfaces

This week Anna & Paul discuss things, using words. Mangia!
Okay fine. They talk about interfaces, gooey's and unique game mechanics! What do I mean? Unclear! Okay okay, for starters, gooey is neat for GUI's which is less nerdy for Graphical User Interfaces. And by interfaces I mean Text Parser, 9 Verb, 2-Click, Sierra Point and Click, Verb Coin and maybe more. And by unique mechanics, well they look at innovative gameplay mechanics used in adventures games such as Resonance, Whispers of a Machine and others- look at some point you're just gonna have to listen to it, this is as far as I can take you. Also, happy holidays, I'm sorry for yelling and Mangia!

Sierra Remake Comparison I: Police Quest

Quest For Story: The Role of an Adventure Game’s Plot
