This week Anna & Paul are the sequel police because they're talking about sequels and frankly, how, what else would we call it, this is an adventure game podcast. Okay, so we've established that policing or otherwise work regarding crime solving will not be involved in the episode, what else? Oh so, we basically go through the games that had planned sequels and briefly discuss what they could have looked like but mostly, we mostly pitch each other sequels we want and what they might have been about. This week Anna & Paul bring you the Sierra Remake Comparison IV: This One Isn't Even Sierra. Look, you all asked us about Loom and we finally answered. We also made sense of what exactly was being weaved, all while comparing the original EGA version to the VGA and FM Towns remake. Join us as we present to you our flimsy arguments as to which is the best while Paul upsets the LucasArts fans by constantly referring to the protagonist as Bobbin Threepbare and Bobbin Threadwood, possibly by accident, frankly I'm not so sure. Sierra Remake Comparison II: Leisure Suit Larry

This week Anna & Paul bring you the next installment in the Sierra Remake Series, this week they are comparing both versions of Leisure Suit Larry In The Land of the Lounge Lizards! It's EGA vs VGA, AGI vs SCI, Parser vs Point and Click! Join them as they take you through both versions of Larry's origin story, examining the differences in gameplay, story and experience and even bringing in a dash of Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded for good measure. They really went HARD on this one. Ya know. Really ah, really did it to completion. Really um... got intimate with the details. Explored every nook and cranny. Really bounced off each other. Had a, had a stimulating conversation. Really, they really come out on top of this one.

Adventure Game Interfaces

This week Anna & Paul discuss things, using words. Mangia!
Okay fine. They talk about interfaces, gooey's and unique game mechanics! What do I mean? Unclear! Okay okay, for starters, gooey is neat for GUI's which is less nerdy for Graphical User Interfaces. And by interfaces I mean Text Parser, 9 Verb, 2-Click, Sierra Point and Click, Verb Coin and maybe more. And by unique mechanics, well they look at innovative gameplay mechanics used in adventures games such as Resonance, Whispers of a Machine and others- look at some point you're just gonna have to listen to it, this is as far as I can take you. Sierra Remake Comparison I: Police Quest

This week Anna & Paul are looking at all the Police Quest 1’s. Both Police Quest 1’s. The, the two different 1’s.
